Jennifer Cardinal, LMSW, MAADCII
Jennifer Cardinal graduated summa cum laude from the Avila University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work and a minor in Women’s Studies. A recipient of Avila’s Women’s Studies award 2009 and 2010, and Social Work Dorothy Gallagher Award 2010. Received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2011. As a licensed Master ‘s Social worker she has worked as the Director of Social Services in several Long Term Care communities in the Metro Area specializing in dementia and behavioral interventions. Also the recipient of the Crossroads “Caring More Award 2014 “ for her dedication and community service in Domestic Violence and advocating for quality, compassionate end of life care in hospice. Worked as a volunteer for Rose Brooks center domestic violence center and MOCSA. Currently pursuing Clinical licensure in Mental Health and is MAADCII certified to educate and support individuals and groups struggling with substance abuse and mental illness. Has experience working with families, children and teenagers including CBT and crisis intervention. Loves being a wife , mother and to travel.
